Is there an approval process for Pay Per Click ads? If so, what is the turnaround time for approvals?
Yes, our approval process ensures ads meet our publishing policies. All new Pay Per Click ads, and changes to existing ads, are subject to editorial approvals that usually take 2-5 business days after submission.

How much text can I have in my ads?
Pay Per Click ad titles are limited to 50 characters. The ad description can contain up to 70 characters.

What are display URLs and destination URLs?
The display URL is the URL that will appear in your ad and be visible to users. Your destination URL points to the page that users will see when they click. So, you can send users to a different landing page depending on the particular ad or promotion you are running. The destination URL will not be visible to users.

Can I have more than one ad?
Yes. In fact, we recommend that you use multiple ads to address each product or service you are offering, as well as each target audience you want to reach. You can have different ads for each category you want to target. Or, you can have different ads for different target locations (national, state, metro area or cities and towns) in the same category.

Why do I have to create a new ad if all I want to do is change my title?
Ad titles are not editable for locally targeted ads. They always default to your business name in keeping with local listings. Headlines for ads targeted nationwide, by state or metro area can be changed.

Is a Web site required for SuperPages.com Pay Per Click?
No. Instead, you can have users click to your business profile. You must have either a Web site or a business profile. You also have the option to include links to your phone number and email address to give users alternate methods for contacting and transacting with you.

What are your editorial guidelines?
Our editorial guidelines are available for your review. We conduct two types of reviews on Pay Per Click ads:

  • Relevancy - A relevancy review ensures that the categories and keywords you select are related to your ad title, description and Web site.
  • Content - Content audits review ad punctuation, grammar, syntax, and excluded items to make sure ad text is in order.

I am already listed on another Pay Per Click service. Can I duplicate my account?
No. The ad format on SuperPages.com is very similar to other Pay Per Click services. However, the targeting and bidding are somewhat different because we use a pre-defined category structure, not the keyword structure that is typically used by other services. When you purchase our Full Service option our experts can help migrate your current ad program.
