How much does Pay Per Click cost?
You get total cost control with Pay Per Click. You set your own monthly budget and decide how much each click is worth to you. You can get started for as little as $50.00 per month. There are no set-up charges or prepayment required to get started. Our full-service option has an additional monthly service fee for the support provided by our team. The service fee is 30% of click charges with a minimum of $20 each month.
Is there a prepayment or spending commitment?
There are no prepayments or deposits required. Your credit card will be charged at the end of each month for clicks received. There is, however, a minimum charge of $15 for clicks each month if you have active ads.
How are ads ranked?
You ad position depends on both a competitive price per click and relevant content. The better your ad performs, the higher your potential click-through rate.
The factors that contribute to your ad's ranking in search results are listed below in no specific order:
- Price per click - Set competitive prices for each category you select.
- Ad title and description - Use keywords and text that accurately describe your products, services and offers.
- Category and keywords - Choose the relevant categories and keywords that best describe your business.
- Target audience - Target your ad to reach potential customers within your service area.
- Business profile information - Build a comprehensive business profile so customers can easily learn more about your business.
- Landing page content - Be sure that your landing page is relevant to the categories and keywords associated with your ad.
- Click-through rate - The better your ad performs, the better ranking you will get.
Where in the search results will my ads appear?
Pay Per Click advertising is the premier level of advertising on SuperPages.com. The first eight spots on each search results page are reserved for Pay Per Click and Pay For Calls advertisers. Ad placement is based on your price per click (how much you're willing to pay for each click) and your ad's relevance to the search. To ensure that results are meaningful and useful to consumers, the content associated with your ad and it's actual click through rate are factored into placement.
Is a Web site required for SuperPages.com Pay Per Click?
No. Instead, you can have users click to your business profile. You must have either a Web site or a business profile. You also have the option to include links to your phone number and email address to give users alternate methods for contacting and transacting with you.
Can I have more than one ad?
Yes. In fact, we recommend that you use multiple ads to address each product or service you are offering, as well as each target audience you want to reach. You can have different ads for each category you want to target. Or, you can have different ads for different target locations (national, state, metro area or cities and towns) in the same category.
Is there an approval process for Pay Per Click ads? If so, what is the turnaround time for approvals?
Yes, our approval process ensures ads meet our publishing policies. All new pay per click ads, and changes to existing ads, are subject to editorial approvals that usually take 2-5 business days after submission.
Are Pay Per Click ads checked for relevancy and content?
Yes. Our editorial guidelines are available for your review. We conduct two types of reviews on Pay Per Click ads:
Relevancy - A relevancy review ensures that the categories and keywords you select are related to your ad title, description and Web site.
Content - Content audits review ad punctuation, grammar, syntax, and excluded items to make sure ad text is in order.
When will my ad start running?
New Pay Per Click ads and changes to existing ads are subject to an editorial review that usually takes 24 to 48 hours.
I am already listed on another Pay Per Click service. Can I duplicate my account?
No. The ad format on SuperPages.com is very similar to other Pay Per Click services. However, the targeting and bidding are somewhat different because we use a pre-defined category structure, not the keyword structure that is typically used by other services. When you purchase our Full Service option our experts can help migrate your current ad program.
