What is the difference between price and cost?
Price is the maximum dollar amount you are willing to spend for a click. The actual cost of the click is based on many factors including the relevancy of your ad, your competitors bid and, your max price per click. You will never pay more for a click then your max price per click.

What is my cost per click?
Cost per click is the amount you actually pay for a click. Your cost per click will never be more than the price per click that you set.

What should my price be?
Your price per click should be the most you are willing to pay for a click - you will never pay more. We provide a couple tools that may help when you set your price: Competitive price per click - During the set up process, we will show the average PPC the first page of search results. The average PPC will give you an idea of what your competitors are paying for a click. Try our price calculator - Based on your average sale amount, profit margin and an estimated click conversion rate, our calculator will generate a PPC for your business. The calculated PPC amount will allow you to break even on your Pay Per Click advertising. You can adjust it up or down based on your marketing objectives. You can change your price per click at any time. So, you can try a price and modify it later to improve your results.

How can I view the top prices?
When you set up your Pay Per Click price you will see the average price per click for first page placement in your categories. This will give you an idea of the prices competitors are willing to pay. However, price per click alone does not determine your ad placement.

If I have the highest price, will I appear first?
Price alone does not determine your ad position in search results. Ad position is also based on your ad's relevance to search criteria a user has entered and the click through rate it has received.

Is there a minimum price per click?
Yes. The lowest price you can set is 20¢ per click.

Will I need to set a different price for every target location?
No, you do not have to have a separate price per click for every target location, though it is an option. You have the following pricing options: Global - You can set one price per click for all categories and target locations. By category - You can set prices for each category regardless of target locations.

How long does it take for price changes to be updated?
You can monitor and make price changes in real-time. However, changes to what is published on the SuperPages.com network are refreshed at regular intervals throughout the day. So, changes to ads, prices, and relative placement will not show up online immediately.

When will price changes be reflected on the site?

How do I control the cost of my ads?
You control the cost of your Pay Per Click ads by setting a monthly budget. Your monthly budget will never be exceeded. Click charges are deducted from your budget until it is depleted. If your budget is spent before the end of the month, your ad will be taken offline until the following month so that no additional charges are incurred.

Will I still be charged if I do not get any clicks during the month?
If you don't have any active ads, you will not be charged for any clicks. If your ads are active and just not receiving any clicks, you will be charged a $15 minimum monthly maintenance fee.

Does it cost extra to show my ads on all of the SuperPages.com Network sites?
No. One purchase gets you into the entire network - online yellow pages and local business searches for Web sites such as MSN, Lycos, About.com and many more!

How do I choose my monthly budget?
Your budget should be the most you are willing to pay for a clicks in a single month. This gives total control of your cost. Your monthly budget will not be exceeded. These budgeting methods may be helpful: Advertising budget - You can set your Pay Per Click budget as percentage of your overall advertising budget. We commonly see customers spend up to 25% of their advertising budgets online. Trial budget - You can try a budget amount for a month or two and see what kind of results you are getting. Many advertisers will start with $100 or $200 monthly budget and make adjustments to it based on their click charges. Remember, you can modify your budget at any time to meet your advertising needs.

How is my account funded?
Your account is funded when you set your monthly budget, agree to our terms and conditions, and provide your credit card information at checkout.

If I have more than one ad, can I set a budget for each one?
No. Your monthly budget is set for all Pay Per Click ads.

What happens when my budget is spent?
We'll send email ahead of time to let you know when you are about to reach your budget limit. Then, you can easily add money to your account to keep your ad up and running. If your budget is depleted before the end of the month, your ad will be taken offline until the following month. Your budget will be reset at the beginning of each month, even if you don't use up your entire monthly budget. The unused budget amount is not carried forward.

How do I get charged?
Your credit card will be charged at the end of each month for clicks received. If your monthly budget is in excess of $500, your credit card may be charged more than once per month (in $500 increments) up to the amount you have selected. Your credit card will be authorized, but not charged, for the full amount of your budget when you first set up your Pay Per Click ad program.
